Hey, thanks for the props there!

While the Redwings have won the first two games, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Blackhawks have been down 2-0 before, (were up 2-0 in the first round, but that's only because they were at home), but came back to win. For some reason they seem to start slow and pick it up as the series goes on. That's what excites me about them. What worries me is that the Redwings are a team of veterans who have mostly been there before. They know what it takes to take a team to the cup. Then again, the Blackhawks have seemed to do a great job learning on the fly, and they have some vets that know what it takes to get there. Either way, the biggest excitement for Blackhawks fans goes beyond this season into the the future knowing what kind of dynasty this team could have with two amazing young players like Toews and Kane along with Versteeg. Just get decent guys around those guys in the future and you could have a scary team.

There is no shame in losing to the Red Wings. They are one of the greatest franchises in pro sports history. The Blackhawks NEED to win this game tonight, or it's starting to look more and more like we're going to see a rematch of last years finals (which I HATE).

Red Wings are under so much pressure too, I listen to the radio around here and every year fans call in saying "we gotta win the cup or the season sucks." And the guys still go out there like it ain't no thing and just handle their business.

Off topic but I miss the Wings that repeated in 97 and 98 soo much... man... but we have had so many good teams! Do you guys remember the Russian 5? Konstantinov, Kozlov, Fedorov, Larionov and Fetisov... how wet is that...

Yea me too, I don't want to play the Penguins again, they are gonna get sh*t on, then Hossa is gonna tell them they should have joined him.

haha yeah the Red Wings have picked up just about every great player from Europe over the past 20 years. Fedorov was one of my favourite players.

Also, I dunno man, the Penguins are really good this year, better than last year even without Marian "the dark sunglasses help me see" Hossa. It'd be a great series even though I don't want to see it (last time NHL had a rematch in Finals was '84).

Sad to see the Hawks' season end, but it was a great one.

I think everyone would have been happy for this young team to just make the playoffs at the start of the year. To make it to the Western Conference Finals is really a great accomplishment.

But now is where it gets harder. Expectations will be high next year, any less than a deep playoff run could be taken as failure. They have to get the pieces necessary to better challenge Detroit. It'll be interesting.

Well, I'm a pretty big fan myself. Just don't have a whole lot to say about them. As long as they keep winning, I'm happy.

Glad to see the Blackhawks win the fight tonight. Blues seemed to know exactly how to pull some sh*t and get away with it. If all is fair, no extra penalties for the Blackhawks, unless your opposition being pansies is a penalty.

It seems everytime the Hawks win big, Toews never puts up any points. He's having a damn good season (I have him in a fantasy pool) but I've just noticed every blowout they win, he never seems to score. Odd.

Yeah, I don't get it either, the kid's a fantastic player, and he does really help the team on every night, but he just doesn't seem to do the things that get points when they win big.
