Well he said he doesnt want him but then he says he wouldnt mind signing him? Im jw here. I personaly think if you got a great player like Bosh, put a solid defensive Center next to him and your fine.

your hatred for luol deng is disturbing...the guy isn't nearly as bad as you make him out to be..if he keeps himself in shape he's an above average 3.  if he's out of shape again he's obviously not much use, as he will continue to sit on the bench in a suit, but still i'd rather save a bit of money by letting gordon walk than throw hinrich in the trade as well.

But the NBA doesn't work like that.  You don't grab a player like that, spend half of your roster depth for him, all under the assumption that you'll someday get another guy that will make that fit.  The more realistic approach is to look at what you've got right now, and fit the best possible guy in with the least overhaul possible.  Team chemistry and fit is way too underrated by NBA fans.  Taking one great player and just sticking him with another does not guarantee success.  Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis couldn't win much of anything in Seattle, but Allen, Pierce and KG on Boston and Lewis and Howard in Orlando made both of those teams top notch, because the chemistry worked better with the players around them.  I honestly don't know how much worse Boston would be if they had say Mehmet Okur instead of Perkins, or Derrick Fisher insted of Rajon Rondo.  Those guys just don't fit as well as their current lineup.

I really think that we're keeping Thomas AND Noah, though one will go to the bench if we make a big trade.  Knowing that, we need to find the best possible option to play WITH THOSE GUYS, not some other, unnamed player that will somehow fall into our lap.

Bosh is a fine rebounder don't kid yourself. And he would be superb as a second option on a team, the reason you see so many of his flaws is that the Raptors have him as a number one option and he is BY FAR the best player on the team and that's not the role he is suited to. Much like Pau Gasol if you put a legit first option on the team you'd see a whole new Bosh, and I guarantee you'd like him.

Cselby is a Toronto fan and he sees him everyday, and i agree with that Pau Gasol statement. The reason Ray Allen an Rashard Lewis didnt work was because they are both perimeter players. Rose would be our superstar in the backcourt while Bosh would be our superstar in the front court. 1-2 combo. Pick and roll all day long...what are you going to guard? Rose going to the hoop or Bosh taking the J. If you go to hard at Bosh he will just go to the hoop. Surround those 2 guys with good role players...Luol Deng,Noah,Salmons,Miller and re-sign BG so you have great scoring off the bench. Teams would have trouble stopping us. Then in 2010 just forgot about landing a superstar its much easier just grabbing a guy like Przybilla. In Portland he cant start but if he came here he would. We would have about 6-7 mill to land a solid mid level center.

i'd like to see bosh work inside a little more..he shoots a lot of jump shots.  he's got a pretty nice touch around the basket and could finish many of the plays ty makes himself look like a joke on.

Yea and i agree, he does take alot of jumpers...i think that would be something the management of the Bulls would have to tell him....like hey, we have a lot of shooters, we need to you to play more inside then anything to help us win. He is a coachable player and i think he would make the adjustment. Not saying dont shoot the j just play inside a little more.

I don't like the trade.

While Deng has had his problems while playing hurt (which is most of the time), I'd still take a hurt Deng over Curry at any point by now. Curry has no motivation, and even if he came back here he'd still be the out of shape sloth that he's always been. Down low the defense would still suffer, and yeah, I'll just say that I'm not a fan in any way of Curry at this point. There's a reason he couldn't even get minutes on the Knicks. The guy just doesn't care. He's got his money. Maybe he'll play decent during a contract year, but that's the best you'll get. If the Bulls could get a Jordan or Garnett type of guy who could motivate players to do what they can to get that championship, then I'd give him a try, but they don't have the guy.

So anyway, that guy, plus a guy who'll never play a game (I believe his contract is expiring though), plus a backup point guard they've already had, and a first round pick for Luol Deng (who could still magically wind up being healthy (although not healthy is still miles ahead of Curry)), Kirk Hinrich (who is one of, if not the best backup point guard in the league), Tim Thomas (who isn't perfect, but is very good at spreading out the defense), and a #26 pick.

It's actually not the easiest choice when you consider all things, but I would want more in that trade. Not just some moving backwards and a little more.
