Alright guys, we have 4 picks in this year's draft: 15, 36, 39 & 44.  Who do you have in mind as potential prospects at those positions that you would like to see help rebuild our franchise.  Ty Lawson at 15 anyone?  Let AI walk, then have Stuckey and Lawson play PG.  We'll be set for years, and after Rip leaves, Stuckey can move to SG.

Three 2nd rounders isn't anything to be too excited about. I'd be surprised if Detroit actually kept them all. They'll be making their moves in free agency. They need to sign someone big (both a big name and hopefully a post player).

Stuckey should be moved to SG by next season, since he's a shooting guard who can't shoot or pass- running the point. He never even played PG before coming to the NBA. Bynum should have started over Stuck at pg all year and Stuck should have been the 6th man, something he was comfortable with to begin with.

Honestly, who knows what Joe D has up his sleeveless shirt, you can't really predict this man. We might throw in draft picks with trades as "icing". I bet our team will look very different by the end of the draft.

I agree.  That is a very safe bet.

How would you suggest we achieve this lineup?  Camby and Bosh are not free agents and Turkoglu has an ETO.

draft Jeff Adrien in the 2nd round with the 36th pick, get a Ben Wallace/Jason Maxiell type player.

1st off draft Lawson.
2nd off sign Hedu because he already said he IS opting out because he wants to get a long term deal for financial security.
3rd trade Tay + Maxiell or Amir and maybe someone else for Bosh. Bosh has already been in trade rumors with us (as well as a few other teams)
4th with the Clips having the #1 pick and a lock to take Griffin, they will have a crowded front court and Camby is the easiest one to trade because of his contract.

I am Bynums biggest fan, but Joe Dumars said he wants to play Stuckey at the 2 a lot this year to get Bynum in the game more often. It wouldn't surprise me for Bynum to be playing close to 25 minutes a game at the PG spot, which would leave us needing a third PG. Also PG figures to be the strongest position in this years draft, and at this point the Pistons need to draft the best player available

This may be true now, but he still is opting out for sure. Pistons WILL have a shot at him, but Orlando will likely do whatever it takes to keep him especially if they win it all, even if it means going into the luxury tax.

Like what? I'm sure Colangelo is a big fan of Prince considering he chose him for the Olympic team...You don't think he'd be interested in bringing Tayshaun, another young big man and a draft pick, and only giving up a guy who is most likely leaving at the end of the year anyways?

tons of good Pg's out there for you guys....Maynor,Lawson,Teague exc... all would be nice options for you guys. James Johnson is really tough, fits your style of play. I also think Detroit will go get someone big through FA or trade, then they will be right there again next year trying to be a contender.
