You can't trade any of them, it makes no sense to do so. They're too good when they're together.

However, it does say IF; so I will play along. I would trade Tony Parker. He has the most value and he still can get better. Obviously, you would need to get a PG back for him. The Spurs really struggled with their wings off the bench last season; so I would think to add a young athletic wing in the process. But, I can't think of anything realistic to be honest with only a PG and and athletic wing. So lets' try this one... No, I don't think either team would do this, but the salaries work and I think it's close in sheer talent, not team need.

San Antonio Trades:
Tony Parker

Portland Trades:
Jerryd Bayless
Martell Webster
LaMarcus Aldridge

Don't trade TP!! You can build your team around him when Duncan and Gino will be retired.

For me the main problem for the Spurs is to know if Gino will be healthy for next season. If he is healthy, you don't have to trade any of them! Get rid of Bowen, Finley, Thomas. Then re-sign Gooden and find player who wants to play for cheap contract, maybe like Iverson, Lee or Millsap. Healthy and with a good and atlethic supporting cast, this big 3 can make one or maybe two run to the West conf Finals.

I understand that it doesn't make sense to trade any of them. It's all hypothetical, though. Pick one, and trade them.

Don't you think the Raptors could get more for Bosh than a player almost retired, an old center and a shooter?

I was half-joking but yes, kind of. That trade does address 3 of our needs though: Scoring guard, depth, and a centre.

Also why do you keep saying Ginobili is almost retired? He's only 31.

It was the rumors after the Spurs Playoffs. His ankle is very very bad.

RIP/Mason
Ariza/Finley
Duncan/Gooden
Bonner/Thomas

don't see why Ariza wouldn't want to stay in LA, seems he finally found a home. I don't think he'll fit in SA's style of play.

As for Manu, don't think he'll ever be 100% again. even if not he'll still be an effective player with his style of play. Manu for Rip....i'd take that trade, don't know if their salaries would allow.

While I might have entertained the idea of trading one of the Big 3 in a different thread, it is crazy to actually do it.

What most are missing is that when healthy, this is still arguably the best Big 3 in the league.  They are the only big 3 that has them all in the top 5 at their position when healthy.  They are not old, they won around 75% of their games this year with them all in the line-up, and they were working 3 new players into the rotation this year.

Don't pass this year off as they are just too old now, they were just injuried.  Like Pop said at his end of the season press conference, they don't need stars, they just need to reevaluate their role players.
