Check out : Fleet Foxes Mykonos and White Winter Hymnal (bluegrass hippy) Chromeo 'Needy Girl' and 'Mamma's Boy'(Cool almost retro 80's music Mammas boy is hilarious song) Black Keys 'I Got Mine' 'Work Me' (Rock mets blues these guys are dope) Jose Gonzalez 'Crosses' (acoustic guitar pretty talented) Datarock 'Computer Camp Love' (these guys are pretty cool this is a funny song) Ben Folds look for his Dr. Dre cover 'B#$#hes an't S#$^' Hilarious Band of Horses 'Detlef Shcrempf' (these guys are ok got to love the title of the song has nothing to do with him lol) Janelle Monae 'Violent Star' (this chick is crazy but pretty cool) Adele 'Daydreamer' (if you dig singers chick has a great voice) Animal Collective 'For Reverend Green' (you like abstract chick it out)
old school Gil Scott Heron 'Angel Dust' and 'We Almost Lost Detroit' (the pioneer for guys like Common,the Roots this guy is way too talented)

Fleet Foxes are a band I've heard a lot about but haven't really checked them out yet. Anyone like At the Drive-In? 2 of the members from The Mars Volta were in it. Listening to their Relationship of Command album right now, its pretty good.

And the pioneer for Gil Scott were the Last Poets. Actually, the Last Poets were simply the pioneers. But I prefer Gil by a lot.

easily the Yeah Yeah Yeahs best album... which is rare for a bands 3rd album to be there best, when there known more for trend setting, than technical skills.
