I almost fell out my chair when reading your mess. You have the audacity to say that anyone in this draft, but Mullens, will contribute next year, which will result in us getting into the second round... wow. If I'm not mistaken, BJ Mullens has the 3rd highest ceiling in this draft. Which means, he'll probably have a impact consistently come year 2. Remember, Paxson kept saying that Rose was a project. Plus, everybody kept saying take Beasley because he offers winning right away. Well, I feel comfortable endorsing Mullens over Blair, James Johnson, and Hansbrough. I know we had bad luck in the past with Curry and Chandler. Don't take it out Mullens because they failed. Why in the world would I want to draft Blair when I could draft someone like Bass or Big Baby Davis? Lets be serious, I'm tired of not having the guy whom can score on his own in the post. Blair will rely on his strength like Thomas rely on his hops, not a good combination if you feel where I'm going with this. Blair is much as a project as Mullens is. Mullens struggle with strength which can be gained. Blair, on the other hand, will never grow another inch. Plus, the dude has bad knees. And from all accounts, he doesn't want to be in Chicago. He said Cleveland is his preferred choice. Now, let me get to Hansbrough, the guy is cool but I'm not sold on him at 16. I'm tired of these high energy guys. I've seen them all from Laundry to Noah.
Upside 1. Ricky Rubio 2. Blake Griffin 3. Demar DeRozan 4. BJ Mullens 5. Earl Clark 6. Hasheem Thabeet 7. Brandon Jennings 8. Austin Daye 9. Jrue Holiday 10. James Harden
If Mullens had the third highest ceiling in the draft he wouldn't be getting drafted in the teens. Not to mention that's literally the most opinionated thing I've heard in a long time that is somehow presented as obvious fact.

Personally, you guys might think im crazy BUT if Mullens lives up to his potential or somewhat close, he will be a better player then Hasheem Thabeet imo.

But that still doesn't explain his 1 to 32 slam comment. What this does tell us is unless the Bulls get another pick they will either take one of these two Hansbrough or Mullens at 16th. This could also be intented to get Blair to drop Or they have eyed a shooting guard and want him to drop to them, and by pushing BJ Mullens up and hyping Hansbrough into the top 15 picks then maybe they feel thier guy drops. I will be interesting. If the stuff about Blair's Knees is BS and they draft him with the 16th pick, that's a steal.

This can literally be said about 100s of guys who didn't amount to anything. Again I'm not down on Mullens, I just can't believe how high some perceive his stock to be.

Well like they say....there is always a little truth in a lie, so no doubt about it i think the Bulls like Mullens. Especially since they are bringing him in for another workout. But i mean what SG would we really want and that would actaully have a chance to dropping to us? MAYBE Gerald Henderson, but i would take Mullens over Henderson just because of size and upside. I think the Bulls just didnt want him working out with anymore teams personally.

I think Thabeet is hyped way to much. Offensively Mullens > Thabeet Conditioning and Athleticism Mullens > Thabeet Footwork and Post moves Mullens > Thabeet Potential Mullens > Thabeet No doubt about it Thabeet is better defensively but if Mullens can get a couple blocks here and there i think he will be fine. I just see Thabeet being a defensive presence with no offense. And clumsy lol check this vid out, its pretty funny

Updated profile page on NBAdraft.net,read the 1st & 2nd paragraph, good read. http://www.nbadraft.net/players/bj-mullensAt 3:59 theres a good shot of Mullens running a pick & roll and taking it strong to the whole for the dunk...I can see him and Rose doing this alot.

Not to mention that's literally the most opinionated thing I've heard in a long time that is somehow presented as obvious fact. Deandre Jordan arguably had the most upside in last years draft and he was taken before Joey Dorsey. You basically proved my point, BJ Mullens obviously did nothing at OSU this past season and will be drafted higher than you expect. FYI, Jordan had some big games in the NBA. While most experts said he'll be in the D-league and not have a impact.

If the Bulls pass on a guy like Mullens, we will be sitting here same time next year saying....dang i wish we would of grabbed him. Much like how we were with JaVale McGee, or Mareese Speights, DeAndre Jordan...all are bigs with good upside but we didnt make a simple trade to get into the late 1st round last year. Mullens will be at least solid, i mean he cant be any worse then Erick Dampier....gotta grab him. He will be your starting center in 3 years.

I'm happy that we took Rose over McGee, Speights, and Jordan though.

no stuff sharlock, he was talking bout if we came out with Rose and one of those prospects. I think Mcgee would been my second pick because he will be better than Bynum. I saw a game last year with Deandre Jordan and he was raping the Lakers literally. He grab like 15 rebounds and drop 20 points. Then you have Speights whom can shoot his *** off. He'll make David West look like eggs.

or back into the top 10 for lopez, there were a number of quality bigs available later than expected last year and we traded up to grab a european that might never play a minute in the nba..
i'm thinking jordan hill might slip similar to lopez last year, and if he does we need to be all over that.

So if we really want Mullens, how high do we need to pick, to get him? Do we trade up to 9, 10, 12 ? What team might be willing to trade their pick in that area? What do we trade to move up, 16 + 2nd rd, 26 + next years 1st?
