Now about I think 8 years agoSports Illustrated took a chance by putting a junior in high school on the cover and called him the chosen one. That guy was obviously LeBron Jameswhch they were right about since he just won his first MVP. Well this week they put Bryce Harper on the cover a 16 year old sophomore catcher from Las Vegas. What do you guys think about it is it too soon?

We'll see. It either puts a lot of pressure on a player or it hypes them up more. I really don't think they should be doing this as early as they do, but it doesn't look like it's really hurt anything so far.

Extremely stupid move by SI.  Baseball is a sport where you can be next to god in potential but still suck it up.  Basketball is really a sport where you can see early on that a player has the intangibles to be a good player.  I honestly can't see Harper being drafted  in the near future and having success against guys like Johan Santana or Roy Halladay right away.
