Yeah. Although I would not mind trading Hinrich and the 16th for Love, Brewer, Telfair or Smith (maybe), 18th and the 28th or something like that. Giving us a lineup like this:

Rose, Telfair (?)
Salmons, Gordon (?), Brewer
Deng, Brewer, Salmons
Love, Ty Thomas, Tim Thomas
Noah, Miller

Add in the players you get from picks 18, 26 and 28 and I'd say that's a pretty solid team, financially as well. Tyrus and Love would be interchangeable at the PF spot.

Okay take out the 18th pick. I still think that's better than the previous trade.

Article on Hoopsworld about DWade

Dwyane Wade spent Friday in Washington with President Obama. But apparently the Heat guard also is in a show-me state.

A day after Heat President Pat Riley said the team could not go forward with a major personnel overhaul without his star agreeing to a contract extension this summer, Wade indicated he might seek such action by the team before making such a commitment.

"I'm there. Why not fast-track this thing anyway while I'm there and let's not give it a chance to get to 2010?" said Wade, who can extend his contract starting July 12, or can opt out and become a free agent following next season. "I'm in my prime right now, playing the best basketball I've ever played, and I feel as good as I ever felt. So let's not wait. Let's do it now if we can do it. So it's not about me signing a contract."

Riley, however, said it is about exactly that, that the Heat cannot move forward with a renovation amid uncertainty about the franchise's foundation.

One article saying the Wizards want to trade the #5 pick if a team is wiling to take on Etan Thomas and his contract which is about $7million but expiring. So can the Bulls package Tyrus Thomas and the 18 to move to 5? WASH saves money on the player swap and pays the 16 draftee less than they would the 5 saving money being their main goal and they get a young active forward.

The Bulls get a strong veteran inside banger C/PF with an expiring contract to boot then with the 5 either get who they want to draft or can trade down a couple of slots and get something or someone else and still get a contributing rookie in the top 11 or so.

MINN looking to move up to #2 to get Rubio. Well maybe Memphis wants something that MINN doesn't have so the T wolves trade the 18 and someone to get the 16 or a player the Bulls have or they deal the 6 to the Bulls for the 16 and a player to add to a deal to Memphis.

SAC wanting Jonny Flynn and looking to trade down from 4, they could trade the Bulls the 4 for the 16 and someone and look for Flynn or use the 16 and Udrih to move up from 16 for Flynn.

Spurs looking to get a 1st round pick have three second round picks, the Bulls could trade the 26 pick for an expiring conract and a couple of those second round picks.
