clips and cavs love it, the nets I don't think would like it, they could get more for VC (I would certainly hope) and the wizards get robbed blind.

Cleveland can't trade back to back first rounders. So it would have to be 09' and 11' firsts, or 10' and 12' firsts. Your trade is basically 3 separate trades. The Carter trade isn't going to happen, I highly doubt Cleveland trades Z at all, and I don't think they include Delonte West in a trade unless they get back a young, future player, not Jamison. Nick Young is gonna be real good at SG in the future. I think if Was is really wanting to build for the future, they trade Jamison and Butler, get major cap relief, get at least one young talented player back, and draft for the future. Young, Arenas, Blatche, McGee, all will be good in due time. Add a top draft pick at SF this season, and who knows. If Cleveland made these trades, they would have absolutely no depth at all, no picks to add depth, and no money to add depth.

Ben Wallace is likely to retire, and if he does, new jersey would be under the cap by a very high margin. They can sign a player like Charlos Boozer this off season with the money they have and still sign a max contract in 2010. They get 2 first rounders and get a 3,000,000 incentive because Carter's fanbase is going to leave. But who cares, they will be moving to Brokyln soon.

Washington does it primarily because of financial reasons. They wanted to do the big ben/pavolic for jamison trade because big ben is likely to retire. Pavolic's contract is also not guaranteed. With this trade, they cut costs and get a good bench player/mediocre starter in Delonte West.

Cleveland needs to trade z Iggy for a more post oriented player and lac needs to cut costs. They cut 2 years.. .and both marcus camby and z iggy come off the books in 2010.

Cleveland just gets lucky.
