I kind of like his thinking.  Alot of it makes sense and could realistically happen.

Barkley on payroll?  you have to be kidding me.

What made him special back in the day was his ability to bang and get physical.  The NBA game has changed.  Blair would foul out in 10 minutes if he tried to do the stuff Barkley could do back in the day.

I also want no part of Tmac.

Imaginative I suppose... but not something I'd care to see

I don't see the name Barkley at all in the article. He talked about Oakley.

$50-something million in expiring contracts?!

I also think these moves make somewhat sense. But I'd still rather see the Bulls go a different direction than this.

Hopefully a trade might be in place?

Williams Going Higher Than Expected: Louisville's Terrance Williams could be the surprise of the first 13 picks. Word is Williams could be going #11 overall to New Jersey, but he may not stay there. Williams is something of an enigma, he comes off as open and honest as anyone in the class, but there are questions about his maturity, one executive called him "Ron Artest-Light", but almost no one questions his game. The Nets are rumored to have the framework of a deal with Chicago that would land Chicago the #11 pick in exchange for the #16 and the #26 pick. Sources in New York have said the deal seems to be in place, it's ultimately up to the players Chicago covets actually falling to #11 and that may or may not happen.

I hope that rumor has merit. A Rose/T Will backcourt could be really, really good.

Thats beyond a horrible lineup of circumstances for the Bulls.  I've lost a lot of respect for Scoop Jackson after that one.
