well this is quite disheartening.  with that huge contract coming off the bizooks, they have so much money to entice another FA to play with Lebron (maybe 2 others).  this would change the face of the eastern conference for quite a while to come.

They were already going to be in this position next season, without the trade.  But now, they'll probably try to sign a guy like Bosh and keep Shaq for the veterans minimum, which will probably be about 1.3 million next year.

Chris Bosh
Shaquille O'Neal

 Huh

Pretty much means we HAVE to add Wade next season if we want to sniff the finals anytime soon.

+2 i agree, Bulls better hope we have what it takes to bring in some players come 2010. I do see Amare liking Chicago more then Bosh though. I think we should target him.

Shaq is not going to accept the LLE.  He's a one year rental.  One year from now he'll be with a different team on most likely his last contract for a two-year deal with some contender that can afford him.
