i read today that the team is close to sign slovenian C primoz brezec
it makes me wonder (i live in europe)if the team has any scouts over here
primoz brezec is almost considered as a washed out player over here(declining game,injuries...)
it makes me think that its more important who your manager is than what kind of player you are
there are a lot of young PF-Cs in europe that are far better players than brezec
name some:Bourousis(greece) who by the way was a free agent this summer(6-11,25y),
Mozgov(russia) who is 7-1,23years old and is considered one of the emerging big men in europe
begic also is continueing to improve(7-3,24y)
not to mention players that their rights are held by nba teams
(splitter,pecovic,tomic,vazquez,freeland,asik,lorbek..)
these are the best pf-cs in europe and of course brezec is not one of them

Yeah im not entirely sure what the GM is doing over in Philly.
Losing Miller made this team significantly worse. Dalembert is dysfunctional so having a young talented C is never a bad call. Im not sure how much scouting they did. If the best they could come up with was Brezec, thats straight up sad man.
