Can the Pacers realistically and financially acquire a better PG?
Larry Bird had his chance with Marcus Williams but instead opted for Shawne Williams. I don't think Bird will be feeling too good about his decison when Tinsley goes down with yet another injury.
No kidding. Especially after he supposedly came into training camp in the best shape of his career last year. What a disappointment. I'm hoping Daniels can step in and be the solid starter all season long.
Also, I'll be shocked if Stephen Jackson is still in Indy on opening night.
Lots of similarities between Jackson and Daniels. Hopefully, Daniels isn't a big cry baby. Tinsley started out good and in shape. Like Bird said, "...Tinsley dives for a loose ball and another player steps on his elbow." He even tried to play injured, but he couldn't shoot or do much else with that arm. He will definitely thrive in a quicker, freer offense.
