its seems the Pryzilla guy is off the market so who will SA go to? Oberto? Tim Duncan is their tallest player at 6'11.

Duncan is moving to center for the Spurs and they are either going to run a four-guard lineup or a three-guard and a more perimeter-oriented big man next to Duncan. Popovich is hoping to become more versatile in hopes of matching up with teams like the Phoenix Suns.

oberto is the starting center for the Argentina national team so why not? He's talented and smart. They could also bring Scola and move duncan to the C spot, or bring that Ian Mahinmi guy they drafted last year who plays C. Or stick to a lineup of parker/manu/finley/bowen/duncan to play quick ball Smiley
many options for the Spurs.

I wouldn't commit Oberto at center just yet. I'd sign someone like Kelvin Cato or whatever center is left. For insurence incase Oberto doesn't improve much.

Bonner played center for the Raps. So he'd be an option

Maybe trade Brent Barry since he's behind Finley and Ginobli now..

i think the front office is still trying to decide what is available to them. if they can get a legit C, like a jamaal magliore, then they will. i don't know if they have anything that the bucks would want. barry is in decline. scola looks to be staying abroad for another year and that doesn't help anyone.
if they can get a C cheaply then they will. short of that, i think you can expect oberto to play lots of minutes as PF/C. bonner, with his skills, will be groomed as the successor to robert horry. he doesn't have the physical skills in the paint or defensively that horry does though. i think they will make a move via trade, regardless.

I think that Oberto can arrive at numbers like those of Rasho, that I believe that they conformarian the Spurs, but is necessary to say to him that the one to throw to basket is for the others…

Elson because he is mobile and a decent shot blocker, his offence isnt great but rasho wasnt and he was the starter.
