The Possibilities--Who goes where

Have the Bulls set their team?  Not by a longshot.  Just heard Skiles positive comments on Thabo.  Boy, this sets off a conundrum of choices this makes for the Bulls.  But they have a lot of assets in which to deal from.

Just to stir the pot a bit.  This year is a molding process for TT whether he is actually a pf or a sf.  If pf then PJ Brown proves that much more important as a mentor.   If not, TT should start practicing at sf  more.  This could set the stage for Thabo  or even JR Smith to go to sg and entertain ideas of trading Ben Gordon for a good pf.  As distateful an idea as that might be it could happen.  Heck, I still like Tyson Chandler.

I think the X factor is TT.   Where is his best position before any other major moves can be made.   Thabo, for this year, can be Ben's understudy and even be fit in at sf occasionally.  JR needs to be tossed into the mix just to see if the Bulls can use him.

Already the Bulls have 6 new players with a strong possiblity of adding more.  The good thing about it is
all these new Bulls can adapt to the Bulls idea of team defense.  If not you sit, or you're out.   In the case of the Bulls, all their pieces won't fit right away but have to be molded into shape--TT, pf or sf.  Where does Viktor K. or JR Smith fit? Neverthless,  the base of these Bulls remains Kirk Hinrich, Nocioni, and Deng.  Can I say that about Ben Gordon?  I hope so, but now he has some talented competition behind him.

I expect the Bulls to go deep into the playoffs this coming year because they just have almost too  many talented players now. Enough to face off against Shaq & D Wade?  Maybe.  But at least enough to knock the smirk off Rasheed Wallace's face.  With no Ben Wallace he won't be so free and easy to take 3 pointers at will and expect you know who to get the offenisve rebound.  TT would make a good impression on  Bulls fans if he sent Rasheed into the writers' tables after a smirking, smiling 3 point shot.

I see T2 as more of a PF - people get tied up in seeing that he's 6'8" which is small for a PF.  Wingspan is more important than height and T2 more than makes up for his lack of height with his wingspan.  

That being said, he should be able to defend 3's and 4's in the NBA....at a minimum.  Noce, Deng, and T2 all have versatility to play multiple positions which Pax must like.
