Does anyone think that the Bulls are going to trade Deng, Chandler and Tyrus Thomas for KG as many sources are saying. Yea, it would be good right now b/c KG is a GREAT!!!!!!! player right now but kinda gettin a little old or are they going to see how Tyrus does and trade Chandler for someone else!?!?!?!?!

No. KG makes too much and Bulls tradable contracts are too small. They'd have to trade like at least four good players to make it work.

No. KG makes too much and Bulls tradable contracts are too small. They'd have to trade like at least four good players to make it work. The Bulls Still have enough room under the cap to work a KG deal. The dollar for dollar rule only applies to the cap limit. As it stands, with P.J. 's expiring contract off the books and the BW signing Chicago is still about 12mil under the cap. So to absorb KG's contract they would have to trade players, picks and exceptions worth 8mil to make up the difference. So the Bulls just have to make an attractive trade offer to the Twolves without gutting their roster. The Twolves won't likely look for the trade until after the season and would probably insist on Ben Gordon in the deal.
Thanks to Swan for the correction.

The salary cap will be around 50 millions like last year but the luxury zone maybe will be above 65. I'd love the Bulls with KG, but I don't know if they have the players to trade in return.

paying huge buck for bigBen means Bulls is officially in do-or-die mode in terms of its push to a championship...
for that reason, I don't see why Bulls wont do whateva it takes to grab KG while maintaining the core of KH/BW...(and maybe, just maybe Bgordon)

If the Bulls obtain PJ Brown and JR Smith, they can trade them along with Othella Harrington, Chris Duhon and Luol Deng or Ben Gordon for him. They maybe will have to add some future first rounder. It would be a good trade for both parts.

I was against the wallace trade because they still wouldn't have any offense from their bigs, but if they somehow get KG...well then Mr. Paxson, you are a genius.

Yea you are probably right about that, im sure they would need Chandler to help the deal go through for KG but if somehow Paxon did get him that would be great b/c everyone talking down on Ben Wallace's offense we could get some more defense and that offense in KG and i wouldnt count out a championship really soon w/ or w/o KG
