Good luck trading an injury-proned guy with Haywood and a 12th man plus a first rounder for a franchise player and one of their top rebounders. It wouldnt make any sense.

yeah it's not that good of a trade, flakz explained it pretty good. replace some of them with bigger names like caron and indiana may take a glance.

Indiana would have to be nuts to do that. They get an injury prone fellow, two below average big men for there best player and a guy who consistently rebounds. No thanks.

I am not saying the trade make sense, but some of you have confused me with this "injury-prone" remark. Who are you talking about, Jamison or Oneal?
Jamison missed 17 games in 7 year, how many games does Oneal miss in that span?

Anyway, this is a terrible trade because not only do the Pacers get crap value, but Washington is one of the worst places in the league for O'Neal who is effective in a half-court offense that revolves around him and not effective at all in an uptempo offense that revoles around another superstar.

The trade is stupid and wouldnt work but I'd like to clear up some things. 1. Jamison is not injury proned and 2. Andray Blatche is not a 12th man...hes actually starting in place of Jamison right now and has been playing pretty good lately for a 20 year old guy.

antawn jamison and adray blatche+first-rounder for zach randolph and darius miles.
portland unloads a big load of salary by finally getting rid of miles and randolph. even if miles doesnt play anymore, zach randolph is only 26 and will complement arenas pig time in their high scoring offense
