In what has probably been their most impressive win of the season, the San Antonio Spurs played to their old ways locking down the mavericks to 83 points, and fought off a 4th Quarter run to beat the mavs 92-83.  Richard Jefferson played an exeptional game recording 29 points on 11-23 shooting including 2-5 from downtown.  He also contributed 7 boards, 4 assist 3 steals and a block.  Keith Bogans was another spur who contributed well recording 13 points on 5-8 shooting including 3-6 from downtown.  The spurs as a team shot 41 percent from downtown on 14-34 shooting, none bigger than Matt Bonners 3 in the 4th quarter after the mavs narrowed the gap to 3 after the spurs had a 16 point lead at one time.

This was the first game all year that I have really seen the spurs play great defense limiting the mavericks to just 35.4% from the floor.

It Was all a dream I use to read word up magazine
