I mean im like the only Aussie here in America and after Danny Green one and i decided i should gloat to all of them... they all proclaimed it was "rigged" and to be honest it very well could of been. It would of made both of the fighters a tonne of money!

I dunno.  Jones and Hopkins have a real hate for eachother.  I think a lot of people would still like to see those two square off even though they're old because they're all time greats and they hate one another.  But other than fighting Hopkins... yeh he should hang it up.  This does hurt Roy's ability to trash talk Hopkins and get viewers though.

jones and hopkins may hate each other but the thing is jones has been done for years, he was never the same boxer since Glen Johnson knocked him out in 2004.

But in seriously jones jnr hasnt had a big win since 2003 when he beat tarver in the 1st match between them, and tarver wasnt a really bigname either until he knocked jone jnr in the 2nd meetin.

Jones jnr was never as good as the media and himself made him out to be, plus he was takin steriods and caught usin them even tho it was illegal testin because the state of indiana didnt have permission"cough"all about money"cough".

Hopkins has fought many great boxers in comparrison and in recent times beat Kelly Pavlik and Enrique Ornelas, and has already said he would like to fight carl froch and Tomasz Adamek too top class boxers who are young and in there primes

Wrong.  Jones wasn't the same after he got bored with the middleweight division and moved up to the light-heavy and heavyweight... and then getting bored with those divisions as well and trying to move back down in weigh.  Jones put his body through too much during that period.  Jones has always been a tremendous athlete and never took steroids, son.  Stop spreading rumors.  He'd play a basketball game in the day and whoopass at night.  He was such a great athlete that he never really learned how to be a technical boxer and defend the right way.  He would just use his pure speed to avoid punches.  After he put his body through all the moving up and down in weigh- he lost a lot of his pure speed, got old fast, and that was that.  He is without a doubt- one of the greatest to ever do it though.

And what do you mean Jones never fought anybody as good as Hopkins has fought... Jones WHIPPED Hopkinsass with one hand (the other hand broken from hammering Hopkins' dome).  They were both young and in their physical primes and Roy dominated Hopkins.  James Toney is better than anybody Hopkins ever fought and Roy Jones made Toney look silly.

Nobody can ever claim they beat Roy Jones without Roy Jones himself getting bored and aiding them by moving up and down in weight class to challenge himself.  This thread was to mock Roy- being that he's done now- but make no mistake- Roy Jones in his prime was a bad futhermucker.

Here's the 1st Jones-Hopkins fight when they were both young and in their physical primes; I urge you to watch the whole fight, but in particular- watch this feed from the 7:44 minute mark to the end.  LMAO @ how Roy makes Hopkins look like a child... and to that point- Round 10- Roy had taken EVERY round of the fight.  Hopkins threw 1 punch and then ducked the whole fight and then at times he would charge in and try to wrestle Roy out of desperation because Roy was beating him to almost every punch.  Roy makes a hall of fame talent in Hopkins look like a warm up fight.

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

Moral of the story is Hopkins in his prime is not even close to what Jones was.  Jones was devastating and would embarrass good/great fighters.  Roy Jones was like the real life-Apollo Creed, without dying at the hands of some Russian- or losing to some bum from Philly of course.

Hopkins didnt look bad from 7:44 on. The real deal was how good Jones looked. We can see how Jones declined through loss of speed, and how Hopkins improved through gains in power. Jones hung his chin out constantly and Hopkins couldnt take advantage, but Hopkins was actually solid when he charged in. He got some shots off, it wasnt like Oscar de la Hoya or something
