Congrats to them, I don't particularly like Nick Saban, but they looked like the best team all season long. They should be favored to repeat next year as well. Its a shame Colts McCoy got injured though, we really could have had a great game and watching them interview him after the game, u really had to feel for the guy.

Congrats to the TIDE but that was very unsportsmanlike to score late, just take a knee and sit on the 10 point win and don't try to embarrass the other team! I feel so bad for Colt McCoy he is a class act though and did and said everything right after the game, I know it was tough on him to have to watch his last game, like he said he can't second guess GOD and it appears to have not been in the cards! Congrats to Texas on the comeback attempt they all showed a lot of Heart!

he played. he just took a hit from an SEC/NFL defense and folded. Mccoy better call Drew Brees- ask him how he came back from his shoulder problems and how he got to be so good as a 6'0'' QB... or this might be the last time we ever hear from Mccoy.

Yea it was an easy win for Bama. Texas gave them a run for their money, but Bama never backed down. McCoy playing the entire game wouldn't have effected the outcome of this one.

Possibly, but we can't say for sure. What we can say is that Alabama won that game and they are indeed the champs. Texas put up a great fight, but in the end it was Alabama.

Rolando Mcclain is a monster. And Mark Ingram, depending on where he goes in the draft, could be a more athletic Emmitt Smith... as in rushing record worthy. I just see Ingram having a long and productive career in the NFL for some reason. If he goes to a team with a good O-line/good QB... like to the Bengals... watch out. Or maybe to the Texans. Their o-line is above average when healthy... good QB... GREAT wide out.

well we do have to wait at least one more year to see Ingram in an NFL uniform. The amazing thing is he may not even be the most talented back on his own team, that could very well be Trent Richardson.

I support Boise in getting support and respect, but Alabama would kill them.

I support Boise in getting support and respect, but Alabama would kill them. i don't know about that. They completely took Oregon out of their element when they played them and they seem to beat Oregon State, a Pac-10 power, annually. I thought going into the Fiesta Bowl that TCU was as good as anybody I had seen all season and Boise completely took them out of their element. Nobody thought they could beat Oklahoma a few years ago and it happened, and nobody thought Utah could beat Alamaba last year and they crushed the Tide. I still think Alabama is the top team for next year, but still, Boise deserves a chance to compete for a championship since they've proven they can play with the big boys.

I don't know if I'd consider Oregon to actually be a Pac-10 power when they're usually way overmatched by USC, and managed to take full advantage of a serious rebuilding year for USC. They were handled by Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, and I don't feel like Ohio State was all that great this year. Boise State is a very good team, no doubt, but I don't see them at that level with teams like Florida, Texas, and Alabama this past season.
