I wanted to see the guy succeed as well, obviously since I'm a Bears fan. Rod Marinelli had been saying how much he couldn't wait to work with him. Rod's an excellent defensive line coach, so I can imagine that he would be able to get quite a bit out of him.
Either way, I'm more concerned with his fiancee and the rest of his family, and with the fact that a life ended way too soon. I wish only the best for all of them.

from what i saw earlier this week, the autopsy showed marijuana and alcohol in Gaines' system. didn't say they were the cause of his death though.

What I was attempting to say in my drunken maddness was that their wasn't enough of either substance to enhance death. Hopefully this doesn't tarnish him, he could have been great if he wanted to be. Put down that REEF-REEF.
