According to rumors at Hoopshype.com, Abdur-Rahim could be coming to the Bulls and PJ Brown going to Sacramento.

The Phoenix papers are talking about a deal involving Kurt Thomas for PJ.

The Mavericks could also have an interest in PJ, but no Dallas players names have been mentioned.

Also mentioned was the Pau Gasol deal.  It appears that the Bulls are the only active team involved in discussions with Ben Gordon named as the principle player involved along with PJ.

hmmm...

I'll take Rahim for PJ. That guy was averaging close to 20PPG just a few seasons ago and he only played 1 year of college. i remember the guy lit up thre Pistons for like 60pts one time.

maybe he's entering the final/mature stage of his career. PJ is definately on the downstroke of his.

this smells like a Paxson type move

i'll take a pass on Kurt Thomas tho.
and I don't think Dallas needs PJ - but everyone wants PJ's contract.

I'd take Shareef for PJ, but PJ has a bigger contract, so likely the Bulls would have to throw someone else in as well as the Kings (someone with a bigger contract).

I'd be all for this deal. Reef's a good player. Maybe not on a Gasol or Garnett level, but he'd make us a hell of a lot better. Since PJ's contract is bigger, we'd probably have to take Jason Hart too, though.

Yeah...it would be best to keep him stapled to the bench if you do get him. I have never seen anyone with less confidence in there jump shot ever in my life. He's garbage.

As a Mavs fan, I would rather have Najera than P.J. anyday.

lmao..

I'd propose something like this if I were Petrie
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2509~99~2377~3~312~674&teams=23~23~23~4~4~4

Potapenko ($3,7 expiring)
Hart ($1,7 expiring)
Reef ($5,4 inside scorer they need)

Bulls take a backup point guard for Hirinch (not as good as Duhon of course), the inside scorer they want and still get $5,4 in expiring contracts in return...

for

PJ ($8,5 expiring)
Duhon ($3,0)
Barrett ($744 little used)

Kings would take the point guard we need in order to let Bibby go and a veteran and defensive minded power forward with a $8,5 expiring contract. Barrett would be included just to make it work cuz Bulls can't have over 15 players in their roster...

IMO. I would love to see Rahim here instead of PJ. I honestly don't know why the bulls even have PJ right now. He has told the team that he doesn't like his role on the team. So john paxson....... what are you waiting for now?
