I don't see the point in this. VC make a hell of lot more money then Granger, he' a perrenial allstar. So expectations would be alot higher. There is no way the coaching staff or even JO would agree to giving VC Danny Granger type shots. They not even on the same level.

its not like we have a real scoring threat in indiana to begin with. if you consider JO a scoring threat you better check again because i don't consider a post player who shoots 46% a scoring threat. when you bring in a talent like VC you use him to full potential, VC has proven he can put a team on his back. JO would just have to play second fiddle, to be honest being the second option might be the right role for JO. just because he's one of the highest paid players in the league doesn't mean he's a franchise player, you can't force someone to be your go to guy, it just doesn't work like that.
to someones point about AI in denver, denver already had Melo so its ok for AI to take less shots to begin with, Melo was the leading scorer in the league. i would have no problem with either of them putting up shots, although i might rather have it be Melo since he shoots for a better %. if VC came to indy he'd be their #1 scoring option:
1) he's a better scorer than anyone else on the roster 2) shoots a higher % than any other scoring threat 3) can create and get his shot whenever he wants 4) the league today is made for wing players
people think for a second, if we're comparing how VC's numbers in indy to grangers numbers. you can't put granger on the team, so its not like granger would be taking stats away from VC

Carter is far from a leader, but you are right in saying the league is built for wing players, and although there are plenty better out there, Carter is the pick of the litter, if you will, in the "wanting/needing to be moved category" for those types of players.
