http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/03/kobe-plays-bulls-gm.html"They need a shooter," Bryant told NBA-TV. "Because (Derrick Rose) is not a great shooter himself so you need someone to offset that. I like having basketball players that can create as well so he is not the only one that has to facilitate plays for others. That is what I would look for." I agree that the Bulls need another scorer and a gaurd that can create for himself would make us much better, but the biggest need in my opinion is in the front court. In all truth we need both, a low post big and a big scoring gaurd. The perfect off season besides signing Lebron James would be if we could somehow get either Amare or Bosh then swing a deal for Joe Johnson. Jerry Reinsdorf has said that he would go into the cap for a winner. This summer is his chance to make good on his word.

Ya the number 1 need more then anything is to get a bigman. A guy that can get you 20 an 10 and score easy buckets down low is always a excellent thing to have and when you got that, you dont give it away. (Unless your the Bulls and you have Elton Brand lol) It also puts pressure on the bigs on the other team to stay out of foul trouble. A guy like Amare gets to the line like 8 times a game, If he draws those fouls against big guys, they will have to come out which will open up the lane that much more for D Rose and company. In most cases, the drop off in talent when your 2nd string big man comes in is big time. So if you can get that starting big out of there, you just made the game that much easier. Imo, I think there are plenty of 2 guards out there....we should either draft 1,or sign a cheap 1 like a Anthony Marrow or maybe Mike Miller.

I think that if you guys can get Joe Johnson then even a big man of David Lee's calibre would suffice. Obviously Bosh, Amare, or even Boozer would be idea, but if you get that second option in JJ then you just need someone with a different game style than Noah, someone who can/will put up points. A lineup of
Rose/Johnson/Deng/Lee/Noah
wouldn't be anything to sneeze at.

It's definetly championship material on the Backcourt ( PG, SG, SF, purists will kill me haha) but it's not there on the from, still it's a very fun and valuable team.

The Suns are looking like the 06/07 Suns again. Nash has been playing amazingly good for his age, Amare looks as comfortable as ever, and the team chemistry has been on point, I think Phoenix has a shot this year. The Cavs are the best in the East and if Bron stays could be for several more years to come. Wades been flirting with Orlando that's not too far away from his home and I'm sure the Magic would take him in with open arms, or even if Wade decided to stay in Miami they're currently 5th best in the east. Add any star to that team and they're right up there with Cleveland and Boston. But you never know what these guys are gonna do. Until the summer hits all we can do is sit here and contemplate.

Bosh and Amare are the ones i think will change teams this summer. And the Bulls have a great shot at getting one of them. Last years trade deadline we really tried hard to get Amare and then this year, it seemed like we didnt even look into trading for him. Hopefully we are still interested in him because imo he is just as good as Bosh. I just prefer Bosh because he is younger and hasnt had the injuries. But the Bulls should welcome both of them with open arms, and approach both of them hard this summer.
Right now Maimi would play the Celtics in the 1st round....I would go Celtics. Which would mean a early exit for Wade. Toronto would have Cleveland, and i would expect Cleveland to dominate them....so a early exit for Bosh as well. And even Phoenix has a tough route to go, they might be playing the Jazz,Mavs,Nuggets etc...and thats no easy task. So hopefully Amare gets booted 1st round too.

Even though Rose's shooting has improved a ton this season, I still agree with Kobe. Even if he becomes a very good shooter, he still needs someone to kick it out to who can hit open shots, and Hinrich is not that guy.

Would you rather have a all star big or a all star SG next to Rose Mild?
Id say all star big and then sign a cheap FA SG or draft one.

I have to agree with you there. I'll take the big due to the variety of scoring for the team as a whole. However, if you can't get a star big, then I'd go with a star 2 over a decent big.
