I think we need a new GM because it's clear that no one in the the front office knows what the hell they are doing. If we wanna run so bad why does rick carlise call a play everytime down the court? Then you turn around an promote the guy! Tinsley an O'neal are half court players not runners. We wasted a draft pick on white wasted a second rounder on someone we cut. Somebody tell me what is bird doing. His decisions are killing the team.

Personally I don't think it's the GM, it's the coach. Carlisle is Larry's old buddy. Any other GM would've fired Carlisle two years ago -- but Larry has taken too much of the responsibility for the team struggling when it's the coach's job to motivate these guys.

Bird & Walsh lost faith in their plan, and in their players all because Rick Carlisle couldn't motivate them.

So, now we have a few new players and WOW! Same problem!

I think they are trapped.  They wanted to dump Tinsley but no one would take him, they dumped other players who have had issues, but the floor leaders are still the issue.

JO is not a leader.  Tinsley is not a leader.  They are positioned for this, being the superstar and the floor general, but they are not.

The closest thing we have is Armstrong, and his legs can't go 35 minutes every night.

its frustrating that carlisle doesn't give consistent minutes to the role players.  if a player has a bad game one night, he's on the bench the next.  this isn't park league where you can do that kind of stuff, this is the nba.  early in the season it was happening to marquis daniels, now ike, harrison, shawne are having it happen to them.  let the players know what their role will be so they'll get comfortable and be able to produce when they're called upon.

They killed themselves with that trade.  Murphy and Dunleavy are so incredibly overpaid.

Yet, the salaries of any three of the players we acquired in the trade is still less than what JO makes this year.

I am not sure what will happen at the end of this year, but I wouldn't mind seeing them blow up this team.

Keep: Granger, Williams, Baston, Diogu, Murphy, Greene, Marshall

Offer Armstrong a coaching position.

Everyone else can go.  Trade for picks, or players.  Players who can play in the team structure rather than isolation.  Find players who can defend, and move their feet.  Players who only show up on the Sports portion of the news.

Give what you have to give for a top three pick.  Oden, Noah or Durant.

Build from there.

Their situation looks really bad and the trade still doesn't make sense, just like it didn't when it was first announced. It seems like getting rid of Stephen Jackson was the only motive for that trade. Blowing up the team completely would take a lot of humility from Bird and Walsh and I'm not sure they have that in them.
