We had a 5.1 earthquake in the area last night (Friday), and we had a 4.1 earthquake today (Saturday).  It is probably just wild conjecture, but it is being said that the two strong quakes and the approximate 100 fore- and after-quakes could be leading to an even stronger quake.  It will remain to be seen.  Just thought I would share.

Was the one on saturday simply an aftershock of the first one?

I would think so, but aftershocks are not usually as strong or dynamic as the one the next day.
