Lets say Xavier Henry, Paul George, and James Anderson are all gone by the time #17 comes around. Then what do we do!? My next fav. player would probably be Daniel Orton because of his size. The Bulls desperately need to get bigger because right now we have Taj, whose only like 230 pounds and Noah, whose about 240. Lakers right now have two 7 footers that weigh probably 250+ each. We cant compete with that. SO if Orton isnt there....i think the next step would be to look in trading down.
Maybe trade our 1st for 2 2nd rounders. New York has 2 2nd Rounders that are back to back....and NO 1st rounders. With this draft being so deep in talent and rotation guys, the Bulls could really hit a jackpot if they draft the right people. A couple guys that probably will be there in the 2nd round are: Craig Brackins, Willie Warren, Manny Harris, Grevis Vazquez, Renardo Sidney, Eric Bledsoe (possibly), Lance Stephenson (possibly), Solomon Alabi, Stanley Robinson,Dominque Jones, Jordan Crawford, Jarvis Varnado, Sharron Collins. I would deff. not mind just grabbing 2 of these guys instead of just drafting 1 in the first round. I think I would only do this if....George,Henry,Orton and ANderson are gone (not a big fan of him really). Thoughts!??!?!?

Assuming the guys every1 expect to go in the lottery does my selection would be out of these guys.
Daniel Orton (possible lottery tho) Soloman Alabi James Anderson Jordan Crawford
I really like Elliot Williams as a sleeper in this draft not much buzz around him I like his all around ability
They should also try and get into the 2nd round and look at
Dominique Jones Dexter Pittman Jerome Randle Lance Stephenson (tho I think he should be a 1st rounder) and Derrick Character

Bulls / Bills / Marlins / Noles ben gordon was a guy he trusted and always passed to when he was open. those other guys are not the kind of shooters i'm talking about, they are more mid range guys. how many times did we see rose get hinrich, deng or salmons a wide open shot and those guys would pump fake then try to step in to get a better shot and end up passing up a wide open 3 for a contested 20 footer? they are not the kind of guy's rose needs. i said when he was drafted that deng and hinrich had to go and

If Daniel Orton's there at #17, he's a great pick. Alabi at #17 may be a stretch. Brackins, Dominique Jones or Stephenson with lower picks would be solid.

it'd be cool to pick up extra 2nd rounders, but not sure i want to mess w/ our #1.
maybe we could pay $1 million to a team and buy an early 2nd rounder, that'd be nice. jordan crawford or vazquez would be great pick ups 30-35

i'd prefer to stay where we're at..i think our pick of james anderson, crawford or lance stephenson would be a good pick, i'm of course hoping that we pick up a big guy through other means.

What about trading up?
A few posters on other forums have mentioned trades with Indiana including Hinrich and the #17 pick for the #10 pick and a combination (2 of the 3) of Solomon Jones (who would be released), Jeff Foster, and Brandon Rush (Foster being the only player that would have to be involved). At this point, you know that Henry and Anderson will be available. Seeing as Anderson's the better potential defender and the better shooter, I'd go with Anderson and would actually see him as quite possibly being a step up from Hinrich depending on how well he fulfills his abilities at the NBA level.

if we trade up to #10 we should be looking at other players .. orton would be nice, though we will already have foster and asik at that point
--
trading down deal that would trim payroll a lil and make us better (perhaps) would be:
heinrich #17 for francisco garcia (3pt), carl landry (backup 4), and early 2nd round pick assuming sacto has one

If we somehow got Brandon Rush, the #10 pick and filler for Hinrich and the #17 I will jump for joy. I love Rush's game and he'd be terrific starting for us. Then you just draft one of the available big men with the #10 pick (this is a big men's draft) and try to find shooters for the bench by buying second round picks or a late first rounder. Granted, in this draft if we keep the #17 pick, I really want Paul George. He doesn't seem as strong or fluid as Henry, but he's got great shooting form and he's very athletic. However, we don't need either guy if we get Rush. Brandon Rush has legitimate 3-point range, he's a good slasher and he has size at 6'6''. I think he's been suffering in Indiana without having a good point guard next to him. He'd be a perfect fit next to Rose and he'd come really cheap. And what's really great about him is that he won't demand the ball in his hands and he is a low mistake kind of guy. He doesn't foul much and he doesn't turn the ball over either. That's the kind of guy we need next to Rose if we get LeBron: a 2-guard with size who can hit the 3 consistently and doesn't make many mistakes.

Yep i agree...personally my only favorites in this draft are Henry,George and Orton. Everybody else i really dont care for unless someone drops from the lottery. But if all three of them are gone...i wouldnt mind possible trading for New Yorks 2 2nd rounders. That way you can land 2 possible rotation players. Anybody else hear that Craig Brackins had a 40in vertical!?!?!!? But ya i wouldnt mind trading up either...the Bulls will probably land someone in free agency this year...who it is!? We dont know yet, but the Bulls getting the #17 pick is probably the best pick we are going to see for a WHILE now....so i wouldnt mind trading up either. And yes, the Pacers are going to be a interesting team...They have a nice draft pick plus Troy Murphy. I wonder if the Bulls will go after either of them. I agree with greenwing also, im really starting to like some Paul George. I guess he said he wants to play the 2 an 3 at the NBA level and he also said he compares himself to a young Tmac back in the day. I just think Rose,George,Deng, hopefully LeBron, would just be a DOMINANT backcourt with length and athleticism that will drive teams nuts!
