They definitely got a guy who I believe will be able to play extremely well with Stuckey, Hamilton and Gordon. His excellent passing skills will be able to set up his teammates for easy shots. If his rebounding rate can climb near 10, he'll be a Pistons stalwart for years to come.

Cousins was my first choice. But, Monroe was my second. I was happy when GS took Udoh at six.

According to Adrian Waj of Yahoo! Sports, Dumars is still trying to make a deal happen with the Kings for Cousins.

Pistons take Terrico White from Mississippi with the 36th pick.

Thought Cousins was gonna fall to Detroit but this is great pick for them.

Monroe is ready to play at NBA level both physically and mentally.

Greg Monroe is a good pick. he give us inside offense that we need so bad. Cousins would have been a good pick but hey we got ourselves a inside player pimpin! We still have more move to go. Joe D. you know we need some wing help and a pg.

Monroe seems like he could be an unselfish David West. He has a buttery smooth jump shot. Hopefully he can develop some post moves to really become a standout player.

question: does he start? if so, at the C or PF? If Prince is dealt prior to the season starting, I imagine he would. I hope Ben Wallace plans to come back and mentor him defensively, he worked wonders for Jerebko this season.
