I want to say woooo to the Spurs for picking Ryan Richards!

Not sure what the Spurs have planned for him, seeing as he was a second round pick. And to be honest, I'm not sure if he'll be NBA ready for another few years yet. But it's great to have another Brit in the NBA Grin

I'm intrigued by Richards and think he could be a terrific player for the team.  Like you said though, not sure he can help this team next year, but maybe during the beginning of the season he will get some run since Pop likes to rest guys and play with deeper rotations.

At any rate, a long, young guy getting playing time would be a nice change of pace for this team (rather than in the row behind the bench in street clothes, like how the Spurs relegated Ian to that position for the past few seasons)

Do the Spurs actually find good foreigners in the 2nd round or is it just the sheer amount they pick that eventually turns out a few good players?
