Some bum that got released last year. Nobody remembers the names of players not worth keeping on the roster, unless you're the White Sox, and you intend to build a team made up of players other teams released.

Alex Rios' two-run walk-off homerun

Thanks guys.

Good for you...come back and talk sh*t when:

a)Rios' average inevitably drops to sub-.260 and he starts striking out every other at bat
b)Chicago gets above .500

one of those is likely to happen...guess which?

Still more than half a season left...I used the word inevitably...so continue to wait and see. Plus, the Jays are still way better. So yeah, go play somewhere else.

Well if that does end up being the case, I hope the White Sox can at least save them some seats down there.

Why is Brian Tallet still on a major league roster?

Good question. He is terrible. I was beginning to wonder the same about Edwin Encarnacion, but they sent him down to the minors today.

It was reported yesterday that he was sent to the minors, now as "designated for assignment". I wonder if he'll clear waivers or end up in Triple A.

Anyhow, it sets up Bautista to move back to 3rd and Snider recalled from the minors.

I think Snider is still hurt, because they called up some kid from the minors whos going to play 3rd base tomorrow night I believe.

Incredibly tough schedule in June.  If they can stay above .500 at the all star break I think they'll be ok.  Not playoff contender-ok, but decent year and surprising most people-ok.  After the break, they play something like 15 of 18 games vs sub .500 teams including 2 series vs the Orioles... though they've stopped hitting for quite some time now... so who knows what's going to happen.

Still feeling good about this?

Jose Bautista over Kevin Youkills as an all star is a felony.
