Pacers point guard Darren Collison will miss a month of action because of a fractured finger on his right hand.

Indiana acquired Collison from New Orleans in a four-team trade last week.

"Collison has a fractured finger on his right hand. He said he'll be out 3-4 weeks, but he plans to be ready for training camp," Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star wrote on his Twitter page.

I am not a fan of the Pacers; but I have never disliked them.

I have always thought Indiana will be in great position to build a solid team around Granger after this upcoming season through draft picks and a ton of cap room.

With Granger and Collison having fractured fingers, Lance on his way out and absolutely no interior players, I would just tank.

Same here. Though Larry Bird usually chooses to just get drunk in this type of situations.

To Larry's defense, I have thought that he's a pretty good GM - not the best or worst by far.

That was a joke about his about his drinking.

I also think he's an average GM too but I'll always remember him for dealing the great core of Pacers which still could have accomplished great things regardless of the reasons. Though they wanted out too, no way ignoring that.

Al Harrington / Ron Artest / Jermaine O'neal (even Stephen Jackson when he got Harrington for basically nothing the second time)

Add good/not bad draft choices to that, you got yourself a contender.
