well i will just say it again in case someone might hear. he have drafted scola. we have the big man we need. he wont need more than 30 games to start averaging 20 ppg. has has averaged about 15 ppg in the sapanish league for the last 5 seasons that is like averaging 25ppg or more in the nba so .....

How do you come to that conclusion?

What? You realize it's HARDER to play in the NBA, right?

God these comparisons between euro and nba leagues do my nut in. They're different, not superior or inferior.

Having said that, Manu couldnt average 25ppg if his life depended on it, not in the minutes he gets.

Its a pity that we couldnt bet but i would do it if i could. He could average that without problems. And casleby i never say that the nba is easier than the spanish league, because its obvious that the nba is much more difficult because there are a lot of better players. but but but the scoring average in the spanish league is lower and the game isnt as quick, i mean there arent so many possesions. and if you think that scola cant average that i can only say that time will tell and if im wrong i wont post again (ey i found a bet, well kind, in the end).

Then why did you say that 15 ppg in the Spanish league translates into 25 ppg in the NBA?

I like the idea of picking Alando Tucker or Morris Almond. We are in need of a youthful small forward with Bowen approaching 36. I heard Scola is better than Oberto so I think the Spurs will definitely be better with him when he does arrive. Do you guys think Jackie Butler, Beno Udrih, & James White will ever develop into solid rotation players?

scola is much better than oberto but he is a pf while oberto is a center, mainly cause there lots of big's in europe and scola has never played there.

I dont think white, butler will develop into good players in the nba, udrih im in the middle because he does play well sometimes, so a career backup is what im seein from him

 , we would have to give up butler which is no problem but i don't think we would utilize sweets as much as another team.
