There is always talk saying that there isn't a star on this team and IMO there isn't really a best player.  Yes, Hamilton scores 20 ppg but I don't think he, or really anyone, can be classified as their best player.

probably billups is the best player, hes the leader and a great two point guard, who is the top starting point guard with the lowest TO's in the league, he the clutch shooter and a good playmaker.

but really there isnt one player who stands out, they have 5 solid starters who would start on most teams but they all work well in a team, all good passes, all good jump shooter and no selfish players

i would just have to go with sheed cos' he can do everything on the floor and while billups is probably just as good as him all around it comes back to red's theory.  you can't teach height.

it's between sheed and chauncey now, two of seasons ago it was all sheed. sheed isn't the most notable player but he does a little bit of everything which edges the majority out aside from chauncey.

I say Chauncey Billups, Sheed second, and Tayshaun Prince third.

Billups. the unequalled leader of this team.

did anyone that voted for Sheed see him this season? he's been terrible! he's been slow and only likes to shoot 3's.

the only time he turns on the defense and goes into the post to shoot is when he's been T'ed up.

I voted for Billups as i think he's the one they'd miss most if he was taken away. However, i do think he gets too much credit for detroits success.

nash is credited a lot more for his team's success than chauncey billups is credited for the success of his own team, imo. he gets credited more than nowitzki

I think it goes Chauncey Billups is the best player on the Pistons with Rasheed being the most talented.
