Game recap: Return of the injuries. I can't believe it. It's already happening, didn't even wait til after the 1st quarter. Big Ben left the game and then Jonas went down hard on his elbow and also has a torn Achilles. If that wasn't bad enough, Terricho White broke his foot later in the game. Once Ben and Jonas left the game in the 1st, the Pistons looked soft defensively and on the boards. Good games from Tay, BG and Daye. Stuckey pretty quiet offensively. Greg started slow but as the game progressed you could literally see him gaining composure and confidence. Very curios to see who the starters will be this Friday.

Friday October 8th, 7:30pm

Player of the game: Austin Daye 21 points, 7 rebounds
Game recap: (from pistons.com the game wasn't on TV or streaming on the internet)
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) Austin Daye scored 21 points, Ben Gordon added 19 and the Detroit Pistons beat the Milwaukee Bucks 115-110 in overtime Friday night.

Brandon Jennings, Chris Douglas-Roberts and Ersan Ilyasova all had 18 for the Bucks.

Milwaukee led 77-72 going into the fourth quarter, but the Pistons answered with a 18-5 run to start the period.

Detroit led by five in the final minutes, but Earl Boykins hit two straight shots, including a 3-pointer to force overtime. The Pistons won the game with a 7-0 run in the extra period.

Both teams were without several key players. Richard Hamilton missed the game after the birth of his child, while Tracy McGrady and Andrew Bogut were both rested. Eight players sat out with injuries.

Player of the game: Greg Monroe 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists.
Game recap: (again, from Pistons.com the game wasn't on TV. PUT SOME GAMES ON TV DAMNIT!

Posted Oct 11 2010 10:01PM

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) Rodney Stuckey scored 16 points and rookie Greg Monroe added 15 points and seven rebounds to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 94-85 preseason victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

Rookie Jordan Crawford, a Detroit native, led the Hawks with 20 points.

After a slow start, the Hawks (0-2) got back into the game with a 32-point second quarter. Detroit (2-1) held Atlanta to four field goals in the third quarter and pulled away for the win.

Both teams had several players sidelined with injuries. The Hawks had six players unavailable, including Marvin Williams, while Detroit was missing five, including Tracy McGrady, who sat out his second straight exhibition game to rest his bad knee.

If anyone wants to do a game recap, let me know. I'd be happy to have you help do this with me.

I'm gonna see how this works out during the pre-season. Might do something like this for the regular season as well. We'll see how it goes.

I think it's cute how you guys had 46 free throws to 24......And still lost by 16 points...

But I do like what Austin Daye and Monroe brought.
Apart from that those guys all sucked. Ben Gordon doesn't know what a pass is.

Sadly, this hasn't worked as I would have hoped. Only one game has been on TV so far and I don't want to copy/paste (copy pasta) a link.

Maybe because University of Toledo football is more important than the pistons shitty team?

sorry guys, this was a failed mission and my fault.  Embarrassed

Like I said, I don't want to rely on copy pasta, I want it to be more fan based thoughts of the game.
