The season is about to begin and it's time for us to come together and hope for better than expected and cushion for the 30-50 point blow outs. Another noteworthy comment: Screw all the haters, I will be as annoying to you as I possibly can if you troll in here! Lets get some predictions going.
Record: 25-57
The fact that their is actual competition against the players that actually performed last season is extremely exciting for me. A large injury to Flynn hasn't spelled doom for the Wolves, either. Telfair and Ridnour should be able to keep the position held down for the time that they're asked to do it. I really hate that Michael Beasley is starting and I believe it is only a matter of time before he either gets to starting SF level of play or hits the bench as the sixth man. You'll excuse me for not putting a ton of faith into an admitted pothead who hasn't defended anyone ever and hasn't been a good teammate, either.
MVP: Kevin Love
I think this is obvious. Unless whomever starts at SG is the difference maker in games it's clear cut that the new walking double-double will be the Wolves' best player on the floor this season. Not to mention, he's a gamer who has and will play through injury and pain. He's the reason why I am comfortable as a fan that the Wolves traded Jefferson for no immediate personnel.
Most Improved: Darko Mlicic
People will see that he is worth 20 million over 4 season this season. I do have concern over selecting him because Pekovic is somewhat of an unknown, but we know he can bring it, too. Pekovic could cut into Darko's time and that would seriously hinder his ability to showcase his ability to be viewed as the most improved player.
6th Man: Luke Ridnour
He's been impressive so far in pre season. I hope it carries over and I hope he outplays Webster, Brewer, and/or Johnson off of the bench. Every up-temp team needs to have plus-PG play to be successful.
Best defender: Corey Brewer
This is obvious, I think. I would put him against any wing player 1-on-1.
Best Offensive Player: Wesley Johnson
I love his game. He's been consistent in the offense and shooting high percentages so far. He's big enough to handle people and quick enough to blow past them.
Largest Disappointment: Jonny Flynn
He's injured and it's not like he's comfortable being a distributor in the offense. This doesn't mean he will suck, I just think he will have the least amount of impact in comparison to what's expected.

Record 27-55 MVP - Love MIP - Webster 6th - Johnson Defender - brewer but close with Love, He is showing effort on D Offense - Beasley - usage not effectiveness Disapointment - Front Office no consolidation of talent (Flynn/Brewer/Kosfus) still around at the end of the year.

30-52
MVP: Love Obviously, he's the best player on the team, giving all he has every game.
MIP: Webster He'll finally get more playing time than he got in Portland and as stats prove, he gets better with more PT. I really want him to be the starting SG because he can stroke it.
6th: Wes Johnson He can play both swingman positions, does a lot of good things on both ends of the floor, but is just not assertive enough to carry the team on offense.
Defender: Corey Brewer
Best offensive: Michael Beasley. Because he'll get all the opportunities he wants and he likes to carry the load offensively - even when he's not effective. Still, I believe more good than bad will come out of it.
Dissapointment: Flynn for sure. Never liked him as a PG and with pass-first Ridnour filling in for him we'll see his deficiencies even more when he returns.

Record: 28-44
The improvement of this team over last year's team, even just on paper, is incredible. Gone as useless scrubs like Wilkins and Pavlovic, replaced instead with sweet shooting athletes like Webster and Johnson. Love looks like the right choice already and the overall depth in this team is very nice. The only things I'm worried about is rebounding outside of Love, as guys like Tolliver, Pekovic and Milicic aren't world class rebounders, and that there will be nights when the team's jump shots won't be falling and without any slashers it's hard to predict how they'll compensate.
MVP: Kevin Love
Agree with Dice that this is obvious. He looked like the best overall player for large stretches of last year and hasn't disappointed in preseason.
Most Improved: Darko Milicic
This kind of has to be Darko, if you think about it. Only 4 guys from last year are still here and out of them Love is good enough already, Brewer has been demoted to the 4th wing and Flynn is injured. I still expect Darko to have a good year but I don't think the team will be pushing for him to get the league MIP (although they pushed Brewer, so who knows?)
6th Man: Martell Webster
This is easily Martell. At times he's looked like the team's best player and he's been a nice offensive spark plug to bring off the bench. He's basically the go-to guy for the 2nd unit and I don't think that's going to change.
Best defender: Corey Brewer
His only real strength, but it's a really good strength
Best Offensive Player: Michael Beasley
By the end of the year Beasley should be the go-to guy from the starting line up. For the moment his struggles and inconsistencies are fine as he's adjusting to more minutes, a different offence and a different position. But by the end of the year I expect him to be the leader offensively of that 1st unit.
Largest Disappointment: Ricky Rubio
I honestly don't know who to put here. It could be Flynn or Beasley I guess, or even Darko, but for now I'll go with Rubio simply because he's not in a Wolves uni yet.

Shang, you big almost copy-cat! Just copy and paste next time to save some time. And to make sure you get them all correct.

I guess I'm 5/6, although I don't know how Webster counts yet?
Either way I'm awesome.

If Webster goes strong out of the gate when he's finally back, I'll be 6/6. If not, 5/6... because Flynn WILL dissapoint.
