Me and you have to talk about both of these games!

I beat Beyond:Two Souls and The Last of Us both in the past two weeks. I thought Beyond: Two Souls was fantastic and feel that it was unfairly ridiculed.

Yes. Yes we do. I thought Beyond was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to my second playthrough and making different choices. Hopefully doing everything I can to stop Ellen liking that jerk CIA guy. I tried, how I tried.

I'm slowly but surely getting through The Last of Us, I'm up to Colorado University, or whatever it is now. So not sure how far I'm into it. Took me a while to really get into it but now it has me.

When the weather was bad I decided to give COD Ghosts a shot and I can't stand it.  It doesn't play as smoothly as BF4 does and the graphics are so cartoony.  BF4 remains my goto shooter until Planetside 2 hits the shelves for PS4, which is something I'm really looking forward to.

A Return to PlanetSide 2

The game looks like a sci fi version of BF(land and air vehicles, same 4 classes with more or less the same functions), but reportedly has fewer bugs and better netcode.  A lot of the PC BF players I know are already playing this and love it.

If you're headed to the University you should still have about 5 hours left.

That part has one of the most shocking parts of the game, be excited be very excited. I agree with replaying Beyond, I took the ending where she ends up with the Navajo guy. The CIA jerk died in my game, can't say I missed him too much, lol. I also plan on replaying the Last of Us but right now I'm playing Batman: Arkham Origins and I'm trying to wrap that up. We must talk about the ending of The Last of Us when you finish!

I finished it the other day. Not what I was expecting at the end. I feel very indifferent about it, but it's interesting that they went that way. There really aren't good or bad guys in that kind of environment and Joel shouldn't isn't mentally stable anymore. Trying not to spoil here, but I kind of wanted Joel to do that at the end, even though I was also against it morally ... weird.
And that part after the university ... what the hell man!? That David Guy sounded like an evil Trey Parker.

The CIA guy survived in my Beyond playthrough and Ellen gets all mushy with him, despite my rejections and being a douche to him. You can rescue him by your interactions with Nathan, I wish I wasn't so nice to him now.
I still haven't played Arkham Origins, I was waiting until they fixed the bugs, which they surely have by now. I'm playing Ni No Kuni at the moment.

Hahahaha, I remember when I tried to run Planetside 2 on my average computer. The computer died.

LOL You wanted him to have sex with her?! That really is morally wrong, that's a really interesting perspective however since clearly he is mentally unstable. I think that Beyond is one of those game that you absolutely must replay. I plan on replaying The Last Of Us as well as Beyond.

Arkham Originshas been fantastic so far, and arguably the best story in the Batman Arkham series of games. Explain why me and you are playing the same games again? I have Nino Kuni in the shrink wrap and plan on playing that next after I beat Arkham Origins!

You're just copying me. Probably breaking into my room when I'm not there ... or bugging it. It's difficult to trust someone from Florida.
Ni No Kuni is awesome though, reminds me of playing those old school JRPGs on the SEGA Mega Drive (or as you guys called it, The Genesis). A bit like Pokemon in a weird way, too ... but if it was done by Studio Ghibili. That's a selling point by itself.

And sex? Either you're trying to mess with people and my ambiguity, or you misread Tongue 'That' wasn't referring to Ellie, but rather ... well, you know ... THAT. I wish you could choose multiple endings, but whatever, I'll play again. I didn't realise how much I'd missed until I looked at the stats afterwards. I'll have a very different view of Joel and his actions/surroundings in the second playthrough though. They're probably setting it up for a sequel anyway.

The guy who played Joel is also Joker in Arkham Origins. He's bloody everywhere.

It's true, that was my boxers in your room =D

Wow, I did not know it was the same guy that did Joker's voice. So I just 10 minutes ago beat Arkham Origins and I have to say that I personally feel like it's the best game in the series. I'm still trying to figure out all of the negative reviews, it makes me wonder if the negative reviews could actually be a result of the fact that Rocksteady was not responsible for it. My only real complain with this game in comparison to City, is that it did not feel like a huge gameplay leap over the previous games.

It felt more like a really long DLC. By any chance, did you see that new The Last of Us DLC that is coming out that stars Ellie and her friend that she references to Joel near the end of the game, it really looks interesting. I'm probably going to try and get all of the Riddler trophies and I will then wrap up and start Nino Kuni or the Kingdom Hearts HD Collection.

So i defected and started playing Sleeping dogs, this game is actually quite good and I'm impressed with what this game has to offer. It was free with the " Free Games for Live Gold" members. So I decided to download it, the game has an impressive amount of content, I liked the ambiance that I decided to buy Yakuza 3 for PS3 so I can try that out and see what it's like.

I will compare both of them.

Just stop. I also started playing Sleeping Dogs again. I download the 'Year of the Snake' DLC, which is pretty fun. I really enjoyed Sleeping Dogs, it doesn't have as much to do compared to many other sandbox games, but I think it might be more enjoyable gameplay wise than GTA V and others. It's much more fluid anyway.

well, it looks like my Call of Duty days are numbered.  saw dat H-Hour pre-Alpha vid and i came.  David Sears said he was building the PS2 Socom spiritual successor and fuuck it looks glorious. O dat PS2 vintage Socom FEEL!  dat crosshairs!  ROUND BASED.  fuuck RESPAWN

H-Hour Pre-Alpha Gameplay Discussion

Gangnam Style dancin on a bum in the end! hahahaha  damn it looks smooth for a pre-Alpha uploaded in 480p.  running is smooth.  dancing animation, smooth.  can't wait to see the rest of the work they put into it.

goddamn Sony won't just put out a HD remake of the PS2 Socom games.  looks like there won't be any need for that now ( bet they'll drop a HD remake after H-Hour drops and people start going back to what started it all tho).  O dat elevated 3rd person view.  love it.  gotta make sure they add a 1st person option too tho.  hopefully they'll keep the max 16v16 rooms as well.

We are Xbox 360 and PS3 owners, we are a rare breed!

I'm almost done Sleeping Dogs, should be finished within the next 5 hours. Really thinking of picking up the DLC, did you beat the DLC, and if so was it worth it?

So I beat Sleeping Dogs and I was very impressed with the ending. The story came together nicely and the ending was very satisfying. The ending leaves open the possibility for a sequel which I welcome with open arms. Apparently the team is working on a possible sequel known as "Triad Wars". Very interested in seeing what that will become.

I have now started Yakuza 3 and I am really impressed with the strong story, I'll let you all know how that goes.
