ben gordon was a guy he trusted and always passed to when he was open. those other guys are not the kind of shooters i'm talking about, they are more mid range guys. how many times did we see rose get hinrich, deng or salmons a wide open shot and those guys would pump fake then try to step in to get a better shot and end up passing up a wide open 3 for a contested 20 footer? they are not the kind of guy's rose needs. i said when he was drafted that deng and hinrich had to go and i still feel that way.

Well, you got your wish hinrich is gone now. I think the bulls are too stubborn to put together a package for mello, and the denver nuggets were asking for too much.
Anyway, this is what we got. I like it. Hopefully they can trust one another, if they can do that, and play like a team, I feel like we can beat new york tonight. And if we come out with the W things are only going to get better with boozer coming back. Hand injuries are really the best long term injuries since it doesn't hamper your cardio.

i don't like rose shooting all of these 3's. i was ok with the open catch and shoot look he got, and he happened to knock it down, but he doesn't need to be pulling up off the dribble like this, especially so much. i was worried when he made the comments in the offseason because i didn't want to see him doing this, hopefully he realizes soon that he isn't quite there yet and needs to focus on taking it to the rack and running the o.

I agree. While I understand his reasoning for why he kept the subs out there, the starters are starters for a reason, and they would've given the team the best chance at winning. To show that they could overcome a night that had seen a player as hot as Douglas was that night would've been big for the team, but Thibodeau had other thoughts I guess. Like I said, I understand his reasoning, but I strongly disagree with it. I love how Kaplan on CTL tried to make it into an issue of burning out the starters. Has that guy said a single smart thing in the last few years? He's like a bad version of Colin Cowherd, and Colin Cowherd is a horrible version of Skip Bayless. Just for the record, Skip Bayless is horrible.
