Jerry Jones is only slightly better than Al Davis as far as owners go. That's not saying much.

exactly, while he isn't on the level of the Rooney family, Bob Kraft, or Jim Irsay (those three are the three best and its telling that those three teams have been the dominant teams of the past decade), but he is still one of the top owners in the league. He's put his team in every position to succeed, its completely on the coach and the players for not performing.
As for the firing, this should have happened after Week 17 of the 2008 season.
