Trade between Lakers, Cavs, and Wolves
Lakers Deal: Kwame Brown, Lamar Odom (2008 1st Round Pick) Cavs Deal: Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Donyell Marshall Wolves Deal: Kevin Garnett, Troy Hudson, Justin Reed
Cavs Troy Hudson/Daniel Gibson/Eric Snow Larry Hughes/Aleksander Pavlovic/Damon Jones LeBron James/Justin Reed Drew Gooden/Anderson Varejao Kwame Brown (sign Darko Milicic)
Lakers Jordan Farmar/Sasha Vujacic Kobe Bryant/Maurice Evans Luke Walton/Vladimir Radmanovic Kevin Garnett/Ronny Turiaf Andrew Bynum/Brian Cook
T-Wolves Mike James/Randy Foye Ricky Davis/Rashad McCants/Marko Jaric Lamar Odom/Donyell Marshall/Trenton Hassell Craig Smith /Mark Madsen Zydrunas Ilgauskas/Mark Blount
The Cavs get a whole lot younger with this deal, they get a scoring point guard, a young talented post, and Reed provides some more frontcourt athleticism.
LA gets the star Kobe needs. A team of Kobe and Garnett will be tough to defend. What is really scary is the thought that Rashard Lewis could end up in LA.
T-Wolves get a first round pick in the '08 draft and two solid players. If the Wolves pick as highly as expected they could come out with a future star at the forward spot. Al Horford, Brandon Wright, Noah, Brewer, or maybe even Durant...also next years draft should be loaded with O.J. Mayo, Michael Beasley, Bodinger, Rose, and more. Overall the Wolves with an early pick in '07, two picks in '08, and two more picks in '09. The team is looking like it is ready to rebuild for a very bright future.
