I think the two teams will be playing in final are France and Germany. But I do support Italy in the semi.

I'm putting Portugal under the list of teams I just want to see obliterated (that's right there with Italy). I can't see how anyone can enjoy how those two teams play, there's no pace to their games because they're constantly trying to draw fouls unless they're the physically superior team. It's just a terrible way to play the game and shouldn't be encouraged. As such, I'm rooting for a rematch of World War II on July 9th.

The Brazil coach was so dumb, he should have let Ronaldinho SCORE rather than CREATE. The coach didn't utilize the abilities that Ronaldinho possessed.
In other news, my prediction is that Germany will face France and Zidane will end his career atop the soccer world.

I'm officially going throw myself in front of oncoming traffic, if Portugal beats France tomorrow, I don't think I'll pull myself out of the way.

What does it look like when 20 players are simultaneously flopping and holding their faces in pseudo-pain? This is a question that needs answering.

Yeah, that's the one thing that I like to complain about in soccer, not to mention the lack of scoring goals. The players act a lot. For some odd reason, when a player gets hit by someone, he falls to the floor and gripes in pain immediately in hopes that the person that hit him will get a yellow or even a red card. However, after the card or foul is given, the player who was just hit stands right now and delivers a nice long cross to a teammate...

It's not every team that does this, but Italy and Portugal do it more than any other team in the World Cup. In fact, in today's game Portugal players were falling down in the box on crosses trying to draw a penalty kick. In fact in the last two games the refs have been looking out for and haven't called fouls on what look like dives. It is something that's part of the culture of soccer in some countires and needs to be rectified. It destroys the flow and pace of the game when a player (Italy does this more than any team I've seen) will go down to interrupt the counterattack of the other team. I think if a player needs a stretcher to go off the field that there should be a 5 minute or so time period before he is allowed back on the field and realistically speaking if he's truely injured they waste no time in subbing him out.
