Just got reminded about most talented Polish player - Maciej Lampe. He was recently announced MVP of the league in Russia. He's still only 26 and I think he could be a factor in the NBA.

The problem is he isn't very good.

He just signed with the Caja Laboral. I think he is a good player, but let's see if he can handle playing in ACB.

Yeah Ricky Rubio is really surprising people in the NBA.  It's more if his style of play.  Deeper 3 opens things up...transition game, etc.

One guy in particular I could see be a decent NBA player is Alexey Shved.  This guy is one of my favorite players in the entire Euroleague - he plays for CSKA Moscow and he has an NBA style game.  He's a lanky, athletic combo guard who can attack the basket, fly and finish with the best of them, and defend and pass well too.  The best NBA comparison for him may be a blend between Rajon Rondo and Brandon Jennings.

Shved still needs to work on his jumper, but he definitely is a great hope for the future of Russian basketball.
