SAN ANTONIO- After hearing the news from Alonzo Mourning that if he doesn't retire he will play for Miami, San Antonio has found a new canadite for the postion. After They traded away Rasho Nestorivic to Toronto and losing Nazr Mohammed to Free Agency to the Detroit Pistons, the spurs need a big man. News is San Antonio is pushing for Denver Center Fransisco Elson. Now that San Antonio has almost no one at the Center position except for Fabrico Oberto, and natrual PF Tim Ducan, someone will need to be able to come in and give 20-25 hard played minutes. Fransisco does not seem intrested in returning to the Nuggets so the speculations are promising.

Butler agreed to the spurs offer the spurs are just waiting to see if the knicks match. The spurs offered 3 years 7 million i dont think Butler has a problem with that. And he has no say so he is a restricted free agent.I say the knicks wont match.

It seems that while most teams in the west are making significant improvements, the Spurs are actually getting worse
