I can't help but feel Detroit was screwed. The pick in front and behind both jumped into the top three.

I believe Detroit are going to try and make a play to land Walker or Knight. Minnesota is openly shopping the #2 pick, Khan said they would rather take some veteran players over another rookie who isn't needed in Williams.

I put a proposed trade in the trade forum, for more details.

If they sit with the 8th pick, take the kid from the congo. Why not? They're all a crap shoot at that spot.

I want Biyombo or Kenneth Faried. We need a big man to play next to Monroe (Biyombo) or come off the bench (Faried).

I'd come away from the draft satisfied if we took Bismack. But, I'm reading reports that he may not drop to the 8th spot.

Basically, I wanted Detroit to come away with Kemba Walker or Bismack Biyombo, barring they jumped into the top 3. With getting pushed back just one spot, the odds of both of them being available just dramatically reduced, as we have multiple teams ahead of us that could use both of those players.

Big difference between a chucker and a leader, who else was willing to take those shots for BYU? Exactly nobody the team shouldnt have even made it that far.

I see Jimmer's ceiling being a younger, slower Eddie House.

I wish we could somehow get the 4th overall (without having to give up Monroe) and draft Enes Kanter and then take Bismark with the 8th.

Why get Mack and Enes? It would be a better play to grab Walker/Knight and Mack. Mack, Monroe and Enes would leave one guy probably getting underdeveloped.

I'm not so sure that would be the case. Monroe would obviously be starting, and Bismark and Enes would compete for the other big slot. The other would be the first big off the bench; still seeing 25+ mins.
