Everyone is jocking Doug, why?  He is such an average coach.  Yes Philly made it to the playoffs in the east as the 7th seed, so what. They also lost more overtime games than any other team this season.  Last year Philly didnt make the playoffs, but the year before they did with an interim coach and no Elton Brand.  Collins is no Phil Jackson.  I watched how Miami beat up Philly yesterday and Collins did not make one adjustment.   Philly can't beat Miami in a series but when your leading two scorers have a combined 8pts and only took 13 shoots there's a coaching problem.  Run some designed plays MAN!. And stop talking about Miami as if they are unbeatable to your players! You sound like a fan!

P.S. Pass the ball to Elton Brand!

For the first time since the Iverson/Mutombo days the Sixers have overachieved expectations. They have a bunch of solid pieces that previously never used to play as a cohesive unit, this season they play as a unit most of the time (consistency isn't perfect, but still much better than most expect out of a young roster).

What you're complaining about is the difference between good coaching and great coaching. A good coach is hard enough to find so don't complain when you have one.

I KNOW I AM LATE ON THIS, BUT CANT RESIST:

zbaby197 you should have your Hoopshype membership revoked for such an asinine comment and display of total ignorance to who Doug Collins is as a coach. The man took this team on HIS back and made them better. They started out 3-13 and once they got there chemistry flowing finished the last 66 games 38-28. They were much better than a 7 seed last year and will absolutely finish with a much better record in the coming season. zbaby197 do us all a favor and never post again unless its something you know about like picking splinters out your butt. Because you know nothing about this Philadelphia 76ers team.
