Let's say, the lockout is gonna end in late Feb and we have a few games to play with the Raps being at rock bottom consider Jonas will not be here, Weems signed a one year contract (no way he will be allowed to terminate his contract half way the season), DeRozan might do the same. We will be having a lineup of
Bayless/Calderon Barbosa???/D-League SG J.Johnson/D-League SF, consider Kleiza is injured and might return to Europe Bargs/E.Davis/ Nene or Chandler???/A.Johnson/S.Alabi
We are gonna be the worst team in the Eastern conference, so when 2012 comes around, we can get ourselves a superstar rookie and by looking at the first overall draft pick, you can't miss Andre Dummond, even though we are stacked at PF. I say if we do indeed draft Andre Dummond, we have to trade Bargs and one of Amir Johnson or Ed Davis to make room for the future of DeRozan-Dummond-Valanciunas. We might be able to get a veteran star-caliber SF + a pick (to get ourself Myck Kabongo). We can use the 2013 nba draft to draft a SF if the star-caliber SF doesn't work. Although that doesn't stop us from getting one of Tyson Chandler or Nene if we have a half season this year.

If the lockout ends in late February they will have already cancelled the season. That would leave 2 months for the offseason FAs, training camp, making a schedule, and then playing games.
In 1999 they set January 7th as the deadline where they would cancel the season. They made a deal on the 6th, and quickly rushed everything above and squeeze in 50 games somehow. 3 games in 3 nights was common.

Yeah, let's tank so we can have high picks, then develop these young players and when they're all star caliber they can go play for other teams.

He was good he was just injury-prone and the expectations were too high.

If toronto could grab Nenè or Chandler, this team would easier be better than last season's Raptors

Thats not really true, Oak was a big part of the reason that the raptors started to see success for the first time, however not necessarily because he was a better player but because he added a much needed toughness and leadership.

Oakley also has a mid range shot(15ft),good at the free throw and like a wall in the post. Camby is good for rebounds and blocks but not much more.

Camby has always had a mid-range J.
