Bayball,, I believe the point for Phx would be to reduce payroll (upon Wally's expiration) and get Durant. Not saying I would do it but the logic does exist...

just to clarify, I don't think this trade is likely to go through, I just heard the rumor about the Suns moving up in the draft, and I tried to come up with a scenario to make this happen. I don't think the Celts, nor the Grizz. would concider anything less than Marion and Barbossa. Remember that they'de be passing up on two of the most hyped rookies in years (I've seen Oden described as a better version of David Robinson, and Durant as a more athletic version of Dirk).

If the Suns were to make a serious attempt at aquiring either Durant or Oden they would have to include both Marion and Barbosa.

it's hard for the suns to move up this year, mainly cause the draft is deep, unless suns are willing to give up a starter it mayb be hard to trade up.
