THAT IS NOT THE TRADE...THAT IS JUST THE EXAMPLE TO SHOW SALARIES WORK BECAUSE RASHARD LEWIS IS A FA AND HAS A TRADE RESTRICTION

real trade:

Boston Incoming: Rashard Lewis and Leandro Barbosa

Phoenix Incoming: Ray Allen and Paul Pierce

Seattle Incoming: Shawn Marion and Boris Diaw

Boston Starting Lineup:
PG: Delonte West
SG: Leandro Barbosa
SF: Rashard Lewis
PF All Jefferson
C: Kendrick Perkins

Phoenix Starting Lineup:
PG: Steve Nash
SG: Paul Pierce
SF: Ray Allen
PF: Amare
C: Kurt Thomas

Seattle Starting Lineup:
PG: Earl Watson/Luke Ridnour
SG: Mickael Gelable
SF: Shawn Marion
PF: Nick Collison/Boris Diaw
C: Chris Wilcox/ Nick Collison

draft picks probably needed for throw in...

this may well work on paper but.....WHY? why would that happen?
Please explain why teach team would do this because im baffled.

Seattle loses it's 2 primary scorers and has to take on Marions salary, phoenix loses its glue guys and is further over the cap than pressurised ketchup, whilst boston lose their focus.

help me out

I like the trade, although I believe Seatle would not go with it without either the #4 or #24 pick (as you stated, draftpicks may have to be thrown in).

Furthermore, the reason why it would work out is because of the 125% rule in the CB Argeement. Eventhough the trade will work, the Suns would add around 4 mil.  to their salary cap which allready be 12 mil too high next season.

Another problem for the Suns would be that they may have to many people who need 'touches' in order to be effective. Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Stoudamire would be that they all be demanding the ball and may not be able to coincide (as the Mavs failed to do with Jamison and Walker on board).

wow pretty good trade, the only thing I would say is I do not think the Suns want to trade Leandro Barbosa, I think they see him replacing Steve Nash when Nash decides to retire. Still it makes sense that Pierce and Allen getting traded to Phoenix and acquiring young, small salary players to start rebuilding, but for real don't know if Suns would trade Barbosa but other than that pretty good.

Nash, Allen, Pierce, K.Thomas, and Stoudemire, pretty damn good starting 5, all they would have to do is use a couple of their 1st round picks on some big men.
