Exactly Finally someone that agrees with me.


Keeping artest for another year and letting him walk is better then
taking on big contracts, or crappy players that will hurt us longer then a year, and if were not getting back equal value or better then equal value then theres no reason to trade artest.


Its that simple.

Artest problems?  Dog cruelty? CHarges DISMISSED.... Wife issue, taken care of and on probation. Other then that 1 charge that is kind of bogus but its there, theres nothing wrong with artest thats a major liability like people think.

ok, Intern, I can understand that you'd rather keep him but this is a trade forum so we're talking hypothetically about this move. My reason for trading him would be that even without his 7mil salary you're still going to be over the cap as I recall, meaning you cant get a replacement without losing pieces, see? This way you get a v good piece (Jefferson) while you can.
As for his issues, yeah im sure that exaggerated but if you think GMs dont care about that stuff then I think you're off the mark.
