Wow,no love for Nuggets and George Karl here But I'm happy that no one conisder them, they are my pick for the black horse role this year
Maybe that's because half of their team is overseas in China and might not be able to play until spring?

I actually think it has more to do with the fact their 3 best players are Nene, Gallo and Lawson or Miller and they have Al Harrington on their team. The Nuggets will have on of the 3 or 4 worst records in the West this year. The only one of those players that might return is Chandler. Smith and Martin are as good as gone.

Nenè,Gallo and Lawson were the best players of the Nuggets team last year too,and Denver still makes the playoffs after Melo trade, with a 18-7 record after that trade(they were 32-25 before Melo trade, and they close the season at 50-32) They have replaced Smith,Chandler and Martin with quality players, and their young core should likely improve next yearhy they should made a bounce-back to the "3-4 worst record in the West"r?

The only one they WANT back is Chandler....JR may be used as a S&T as he does have some value and KMart they don't need with Nene moving into the PF position and Faried being drafted....

If the Nuggets aren't one of the worst 4 teams in the West this year I'll leave Hoopshype. They replaced Felton with Miller, Martin with Faried, Smith with Fernendez and Chandler with Brewer. That's a noticeable downgrade at 3 positions and a likely downgrade at another. On top of that their sucess was over a 30 game stretch. I'll remain plenty skeptical until the prove me wrong.

Golden State will be better than the Nuggets and the Suns might as well. Are you a Nuggets fan, by any chance?

Suns might be better than Nuggets next year? How exactly? They did not made any big move, and Brooks is in China,so unless you think that Shannon Brown and Markieff Morris are game changer, they are not going to get better
Rockets will be worse than Nuggets too, unless you believe that Flynn,Marcus Morris and Motiejunas are game changers

I see the Nuggets fans are paying extra close attention to how bad other teams have gotten and don't realize how many quality players they lost. Since you and Cutler are so confident, why don't you join me in my wager. I've already stated that I'll leave if the Nuggets make the play-offs.... either of you gents care to do the same?

Nuggets starts from 5th place in the West last year,so unless some shitty team make a BIG jump or Nuggets make a BIG step back,I don't see them being surpassed from something like 5-6 teams

I'll take it...and as for the China "losses", Chandler is the only one the Nugs want back. KMarts knees are gone, JR may become a S&T for a team that wants a headcase while Chandler will return in time to help the Nuggets in their playoff chase... BTW, who's your team of choice ?? Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Knicks or Bulls ?? Gotta be one of those frontrunners....
