that'd be great because the lakers would have dealt butler for a reliable point-guard since they already have haslem at PF

Not really a trade I can remember. I could say the Vince Carter trade, but really, everything happens for a reason. And if the VC trade wasn't made, the Raptors might not be in the position they are in now and heading towards the future with a core like Andrea, CB4, TJ Ford, and Jose.

The Raptors should have no regrets, aside from drafting Rafeal. Although look what came of that, a banger like Hump.

God Bless Bryan Colangelo.

Keith Van Horn and Michael Doleac for Tim Thomas and Nazr Mohammed.
I'd change that deal by NOT doing it in the first place.
If that deal never went through, the Knicks would be in a much better off place in my opinion and Marbury would still be one of the better pg's in the league.

yeah, they totally should have gotten a guy not on the Heat yet.  that would have really helped.

During the 2002 NBA Draft:
Knicks traded Marcus Camby, Mark Jackson, and the 7th pick (Nene) for Antonio McDyess and the 25th pick (Frank Williams).

What I would have done is not make a trade with Denver at all but if anything I would do this during that draft in 2002.

KNICKS GET
Avery Johnson
2nd Rd pick 33rd overall

NUGGETS GET
Mark Jackson
Lavor Postell
2nd Rd pick 36th overall
cash

KNICKS DRAFT PICKS:
#7 My Choice: Amare Stoudemire    Actual: #7 to Denver Nene
#33 My Choice: Carlos Boozer         Actual: #36 Milos Vujanic

Hey I am not kidding cause if you look back at this draft and see video tape of Amare in high school you would have drafted him too, the fact he turned out to be this good is just great for the Suns. As for Boozer I would have tried to drafted him cause at that time he probably was one of the few 2nd round picks I actually knew in college.

Just imagine that roster
PGs: Avery Johnson/Charlie Ward/Howard Eisley
SGs: Allan Houston/Shandon Anderson
SFs: Latrell Sprewell/Clarence Weatherspoon/Lee Nailon
PFs: Amare Stoudemire/Kurt Thomas/Mark Pope
Cts: Marcus Camby/Carlos Boozer/Michael Doleac/Travis Knight

The exact opposite of today's Knicks, a roster stacked full of big men instead of being stacked full of guards. Other then maybe an upgrade at point guard and backups SGs and SFs just look how sick this roster is, my god Scott Layde you truely are a stupid a$$!

February 2002
Bulls Trade to Pacers
Ron Artest
Brad Miller
Ron Mercer
Kevin Ollie

for
Jalen Rose
Travis Best
Norm Richardson

Jerry Krause commented on the reason for trading Artest because of the "continuing outstanding play of rookie Trenton Hassell at both ends of the court" and Miller because of Dalibor Bagaric and Eddy Curry

2001
Bulls Trade
Elton Brand

for
#2 pick- Tyson Chandler
Brian Skinner

Worst trade in bulls history.  A day that still lives in infamy for bulls fans who pine for that scoring center.

These two trades symbolize to bulls fan the post-jordan, pre-paxson era.
